Flexibility
I need to improve my flexibility. I tried to touch my toes the other day and didn't even get close (my finger tips only came down to the middle of my shins). I also noticed that while my legs felt tight, my lower back felt like it was in a vice.
Any suggestions? |
Yoga. And I'm not joking.

i actually took a PE class at BYU called "Flexibility." I enrolled because it sounded ridiculous and I thought it would be a good conversation piece.
Turned out to be a great class. almost all women, everyone bending over all the time, grunting, etc... The bottom line with flexibility is stretching, stretching, stretching. But slowly, over time. We just did all these stretching exercises in class, not unlike yoga. And yes....don't bounce. |

I killed the sit and reach in grade school. For a big guy I am pretty flexible. It's natural for me. I can bend over at the waist and nearly place my palms on the floor and I think after some stretching I could get my nose close to my knee.
Yoga is a workout. Gidget used to do it. I did it a few times with her mostly cause I like looking at her ass. I usually quit or she made me leave when I started farting though. |
Yoga is the best way to improve your flexibility. The other good method is a dynamic stretching. You just need to stretch every morning, dont only stretch your back. do pike stretches and splits to help your flexibility. Lay on your stomach and lift one of your legs up about 3-5 inches of the ground, hold for 30 seconds. If it hurts to much then put a pillow under near your stomach. do both legs for 30 second 5-10 times a day, not all at once though.
