First Night...
 

We had our first night in the new house last night.. we've gone from renting a basement apt. for 6 months, to renting a home while the couple served a mission for 18 months and then spent another 6 months in the basement of my wife's parents house. I know it's cliche, but there really isn't anything like owning your own place. Your mindset completely changes, the stress level goes up a bit, but the excitement (for now anyway) far out weighs everything else. I'm teaching my last lesson in the old ward today so we still won't be attending the new ward, so I guess we'll go next week. I hope to fly under the "calling" radar for the next 5-7 years at least.. Unless it's Assistant Scout Master. ha ha!

I hope to live in a house someday. Since my parents' divorce at age 8, I was raised in apartments, and have rented apartments since moving out.
