Funny reasons for why Big 12 will pass on BYU

Was he is doing is fundamentally good. He can be a little more professional about it.

Like not prefacing every data release with "Woohoo!" "Yeah boy!" "In your face!"

Or color-coding his excel cells.

I think BYU fans are outstandingly whiney and obnoxious. Last year we've become a Cinderella candidate after the two Hail Marys. People said, they were cheering for BYU, but its fans are particularly obnoxious.

Obnoxious in a Ned Flanders way. Obnoxious weirdos. CB is the weirdest sports board in the nation.

Oh, "called in" as he phoned into the show. I thought you meant they requested an interview with him for all the great work he's done. I was like, man, the power of CB as a vehicle in creating a name for yourself!

Claiming that Boren wants us in is inane and jumping the gun. I'm sure Boren loves to have words put in his mouth.

On ESPN radio last night, the one host who writes for the dallas morning news says he favors the Big 12 adding 4, but does not include BYU among those 4. It was Memphis, UCF, USF, and I believe Cincy.

The other host, Matt Moseley said he would prefer to add his "Mormon friends" in BYU. And they had a back and forth about why the other guy was opposed to BYU. Who quipped about not wanting to make plane trips to Provo, and cracks about not being able to drink soda in Provo.

If the Big 12 added four, I truly doubt Memphis would be included. Academically and for most athletics, it is not on par. UCF has taken a dive as well.

Most believe UCF's and USF's chances died with the announcement the league wasn't going to try to start a conference network. The Big 10 established the model of raking in the money through cable and satellite carriage fees. That model more or less means as long as you have a team in a major market you cash in on high carriage rates to carry the channel even if no one in that market cares about the local team (Hello Rutgers!). Without that, it reverts back to market size not mattering much if no one in the market cares about the team being added -- the WAC-16 for example. They added the Houston and DFW markets and every team in the league lost money because the schools in those markets had no following. It only split the same money among more teams.

On behalf of all women we are boycotting BYU.

Is he the same Dallas Morning News guy who wrote that article saying the LGBTQ issue will be a big issue? If so, he's consistent.
