Spurs v Pistons Finals?

It could happen. If that's the match up, David Stern's head will explode. It will be a ratings nightmare.

considering it already did happen, you are correct.

The Spurs are ratings anathema.

The two lowest rated finals in the NBA history:

2007 Spurs v Cavs (sorry Lebron, nobody cares about you, either)

2003 Spurs v Nets

I am cheering for the following teams in order:

1. Celtics - I like KG and it would be fun to see him win it.
2. Pistons - I like Flip and the way the Pistons play.
3. Spurs - Horry needs an 8th ring to legitimize his career.

I find no redeemable qualities in the Lakers.

1. Celtics have too many championships.
2. Pistons gave up hope of another championship when they let Okur slip away to Utah.
3. Horry already has more rings than MJ. Besides, the Spurs deserve nothing.

Agreed about the Lakers.

lol! I think it had a little more to do with Larry Brown leaving the team than Mehmet Okur.

That's a possibility as well, yes. :)
