Rothlisberger points to God

Rothlisberger points to God after game winning field goal. Analyze it Utes.

What was he saying? Thank you, God? If so, why? Does this mean he believes God cares about football? Does this mean he believes God blessed him over the Dolphins? What does this say about the Dolphins? Does Rothlisberger thinks he is more righteous or more deserving of blessing than the Dolphins? Are the Dolphins offended? Does it have something to do with Ricky Williams and marijuana? Is smoking pot a more serious sin than self-righteousness?

Lotta subtext here, Utes. Analyze it.

I saw that. The kicker did as well.

AC sits in good company.

Sounds of crickets coming from Dolphin Nation.

Well, obviously God hates the Dolphins.

No, I'm sure they're up in arms over this. I'll bet callers on talk radio in Miami tomorrow are furious at this religious slight.

It jumps out at me as being terribly solipsistic. Tons of athletes do it, but it just seems misguided even if all it means is "thanks." Thanks for what?

It was a full moon just the other night. This shows Big Ben worships Allah, the moon-god. He has ever since he saw stars and moons after hitting that car windshield a few years back.

Big Ben was taunting God. Kind of like, hey, you made it rain but we still won! Reminiscent of Lt. Dan steering a shrimp boat through a hurricane.

Maybe you're correct. But will South Florida see the same spike in adult incontinence product sales seen in retail outlets along the east bench of SLC since saturday?
