watch for Father's Day
Danimal wants a new watch for Father's Day. He told me not to spend too much so I have been looking at Overstock.com to get a good deal. I am thinking about this watch. What do you think?

This is the one I got a while back before we traded it in for something else.

I say, snatch it up. |
if you are serious about getting a nice watch at a good price, Mr. Cheap is the person you need to talk to, i.e. me.

I was merely suggesting you could find something modest such as my suggestion. |

http://shop.ebay.com/items/Watches__...monyuQQ_ssovZ1 I ended up with two seiko automatics from like $40 apiece. An automatic is a self-winding mechanical watch that doesn't use a battery or solar power or anything like that. |

BTW...I do like the Ironman watches, but I HATE my Indiglo Ironman--it's one of those where the digits light up orange instead of the backlight. It was cool at first, but it has a velcro band that you can't replace separately. Now the velcro band comes undone all the time. |
This is the watch I wear typically:
