I used to collect vinyl. First albums I ever picked up were Led Zeppelin 1, 2, 3, 4 and Woodstock Soundtrack.

Excellent album.

That was my brother's first one, too. Man the cover to that creeped me out.

My first LP was the soundtrack to Annie.

Sheesh, tough question. Probably Deep Purple. Or Led Zeppelin. Or the Who.

They are boxed up in the basement somewhere. I should dig them up.

My brother had a large record collection of punk, ska, and new wave stuff and since he had already purchased Vol 1, I bought Vol 2 with my own money. I think I wanted to impress my brother and have him think I was cool. He was impressed. And it was the beginning of a lifelong love affair with music. And soft-core porn.
