If you want to have bees

Good luck. The entire country is almost sold out, from what I hear.

Both the Weaver apiaries in Texas are sold out.

My dad has a friend that was trying to buy some bees, and finally managed to find an outfit in North Carolina that still had some.

If I had tried to order bees one week later, I would have been SOL.

My bees are really sucking down the sugar water. They are going to go dry while I'm out of town. They'll have to make a living the old fashioned way.

There was an article a little while ago in our local paper talking about the Northern, CA bees not being affected. You might try the folks up this way if you need anything.

Dang! I guess I'm just going to have to bump the whole beekeeping thing down a notch on my prioritized To Do list - keeping bees is now item #45,672 instead of item #45,673
