Anybody watching the fight Saturday Night?
It should be a good one.

I wish someone would invite me over to watch it. So I don't have to pay.

Consider yourself invited. Although its not free. We've got it down to about $10 each, with you and Farrah that should put it at about $8 each. At those rates, we may actually be able to afford some munchies to go with it.

John Haddow has invited the DC Singles Wards to his house to watch the fight. Come join us if you are in the area.

Anyone been following the HBO series about their training? Pretty good stuff. I have to say though that Floyd playing the villain is working on me. I pick him to win but I sure hope he doesn't.

De La Hoya is an intelligent businessman.
He signed Mayweather to his promotion awhile back. Now one is playing the Face (De La Hoya) and the other is playing the Heel (Mayweather) to the tee...and I've no doubt that after the fight is over, behyind the scenes, that they'll be high fiving one another with the intelligent way they've done this business deal. WWE Creative Writing team (and yes such a title exists) would be impressed with how the promotion of this whole thing has been carried out. Kudos to them. I hope it's a great fight. |
I'm geeked about the fight, can't wait.
I'll be at a friends with the fight on one tv and the Jazz game on the other. |
Boxing bores me.. I will be viewing the Jazz game..

I'll be watching it. Mayweather is the better fighter, but Oscar may be too big for him. He has a good left hook and Mayweather seems to lead with the right because he's so quick. I am tempted to bet on Oscar since he's such a big underdog. If he catches Floyd flush, it may be over. I just hope it's not a dud like so many other pay per view fights I've purchased.
