I've seen a couple nonmember friends on FB post things like, "Why do all my favorite bloggers live in Utah?"

CG is the reverse ugly side of the male Mormon existence! Anger, pettiness, snarkiness, hatred, sarcasm, mocking. All good stuff too!

I have been, for very brief periods, fascinated with some of these Mormon mommy blogs as well. Actually, at times, disgusted with them.

One of them was very funny, and irreverent, and hip. Talked about taking a dump behind a dumpster during a jog, and things like that. But honestly, after a little bit, the humor became monotonous, and I felt like it was all just repetition. But is that really fair criticism? We are all repetitious, and we are all boring. I post here on CG to a minuscule audience, most of those formerly here long ago being bored with my schtick.

But most of these Mommy blogs don't cover all that many subjects. I like to cover everything from the sublime to the crude to sports to sex to religion and back again.
