I'm not a NYT basher. I read it daily, as it has the best international pages of any US paper or news source. The NYT editorial page is what it is; I don't read it much. But this cracks me up...

The story on the market bombings in Bagdad today is the fact that the suicide (not the right term here) bombers were mentally retarded or had DS. This has been the lead in the AP, CNN, etc., stories

In the NYT piece?

What possible explanation is there to not only burry the lead, but to simply not report it? It's nowhere in the story.
