Heartbreaking. The reporter's voice was cracking as she reported from the scene. I can't remember the last time I heard a reporter cry during a report.

That's not very nice of you.

The final image of the grandfather cuddling the two year old with grandmother embracing them both is beyond description.

I'm not certain I wish to thank you for that.

I hope Barbara doesn't read this.

Remember that reporter after Katrina that interviewed an older man on the street and he talked about how his wife slipped away from him? She and I both cried.

Moments like these remind us that the human family has much more in common than differences regardless of race, creed or nationality. That is part of what makes all of this so moving and puts much else into perspective.
