NRA is scoring Sotomayor vote

NRA is opposed because Sotomayor ruled that the 2nd Amendment only applies to residents of District of Columbia, and not to citizens in the 50 states.

A bunch of dems are going to see their NRA score lowered as a result.

It's not stupidity. It's bias.

Perhaps so, but I think it's stupidity if she really believes that it doesn't apply to citizens in the 50 states. After all, isn't the document the United States Constitution?

Do you think that because something is in the Constitution it must apply to all Americans as individuals?

You may want to read up on this.

Are you saying that the 2nd Amendment does not apply to the citizens of each state?

Clearly the bill of rights only applies to residents of the District of Columbia. Duh.
