How often do you (males) wear a white shirt to church?
public poll

I used to never wear a white shirt. But in the past several years I have worn a white shirt much more frequently. Honestly, it's partly because I don't wear white shirts to work, and if I wear a white shirt for church it means I have my other shirts available for work. And you can pretty much match any tie to a white shirt.
Also, in my last ward, wearing a white shirt was a point of emphasis with the young men. Coming down from the the Bishop and the YM president. Not something I really agreed with personally, but I supported their views by most often wearing a white shirt, as I was part of the YM program. However, I should probably receive several demerits from the traditionalists in that I don't own a single suit (that is wearable). |
Good spectrum.

I wear white shirts when the colored shirts are too dirty or wrinkled to wear so I am forced by my failure to launder the colored shirts to wear a white shirt.

I attend church from time to time but I own one white shirt and it never makes the rotation.

Bimodal distribution.

I am married to a man who always wears a white shirt. I try to persuade him not to but he feels he is required by his calling.
I have two sons. They sometimes do, but usually do not. I buy dress shirts for them that are white, but the majority are not. I like variety. |
