is staggering. I didn't pay attention for a few years, and now ammo has almost doubled in price.

1. materials/metal prices skyrocketed.
2. demand from warring states (like the USA

Metal prices have decreased, but war continues. And demand is very high due to Obama's forces saber-rattling about gun and ammo bans/taxes/restrictions.

Semi-auto rifles and "assault weapons" have skyrocketed in the last couple of months as well.
