Am I the only Nike hater here?
 

Besides being the evil empire that support the fluckling ducks, their business practices are to be despised, and until recently they completely abandoned their devotion to the runner. Plus, during my application for a free shoe tester for life, they turned me down.

Why are their business practices to be despised? Just curious...

Full disclosure: My post contains a hidden agenda. OldManMeanie has audited many of Nike's plants in China and makes strong arguments in favor of Nike's business practices in China. I don't personally have a dog in the fight but I'm reasonably familiar with some of OldManMeanie's arguments and might try to take a stab at convincing you that Nike's business practices (at least as they are manifest in China) aren't despicable.

Full disclosure II: OldManMeanie has been a test runner for Nike in the past (I'm not sure if he currently is but I doubt it because his running volume dropped way down after his last heart attack).

Finally...the truth comes out.

I don't like Nike. I don't like the way their athletic shoes feel and they seem to wear out quickly.

I was going to say "hate" but I didn't want to scare Lingo.
