If so, one wonders if the USC job will be offered to Bronco or possibly Joe Glenn.

Maybe some of the experts on this board can weigh in.

No way Carroll is that stupid.

They'll bring on Gary Patterson as a grad assistant.

I think even Goat would acknowledge that at this point Glenn getting an offer from USC would be a long shot.

I think it is inevitable that he accepts this job.

So long, PC!

I'm not sure who would be more stupid, Atlanta for offering the job or Carrol for taking it. Every single week during the season he has more talent then anybody he plays. He is a great recruiter, not a great coach. Atlanta would be better served finding a decent QB and some assistant coach ready to move up.

PC has gone 76-14 in seven seasons at SC.

He is 70-8 in the last six seasons.

SC has won 2 national championships and played for it 3 times.

He has coached 3 Heisman winners.

He was won a record six consecutive Pacific 10 Conference titles.

He has gone to a record six straight BCS games, losing only once....in the last minute of the game.

You may have a point, RC. Pete isnt THAT great of a coach. He could be doing a much better job.

You are correct, DDD. It will be a disaster for Southern Cal if he leaves.

And, he is 0-1 vs. Ron McBride. MAFU owns PC.

:D

I think Anae is the obvious choice, SC did well with the last guy BYU fans hated, who's to say it wouldn't happen again! I like....I'm calling Carroll.
