What are your pre-emptive reasons for Obama's loss?

I'm not predicting he loses, but I want to see what could possibly be his downfall on Election Day.

IFF he were to lose, which I don't foresee at all, as his impending coronation and deification seems all but assured, the pundits would tie it almost exclusively to racism.

In reality, it could only happen if the small town America just disconnected with him, and some unforeseeable blemish appears before he could respond.

Unfortunately not going to happen, so I hope he takes all of the blame for the impending economic collapse and his failed policies are ridiculed endlessly by liberals and conservatives alike.

I have always thought that if McCain really wants to take Obama down, he's got to pull out the born alive act. I mean hit him below the belt with everything he's got. I don't know why he never did.

But I think it's too late for that now. If Obama does lose, it's because the lead in the polls has contributed to such a complacency, such a presumption, among Obama's supporters -- especially his youngest supporters -- that they don't bother to show up to vote.

Well, it is racism, in the sense that X% of America and several entire states refuse to vote for him because he's black. So that would certainly be a reason for the loss -- you could likely make a strong argument that it's the primary or the only reason for the loss.

Surely if this were a white socialist, running against this very mismanaged opponent, in this political environment, this would be a blowout win for the Dems.

Maybe, but I remain unconvinced, as I detested Kerry and Gore as socialists and they both blew elections to an incompetent bumbling fool. You underestimate the disdain this country possesses for socialism and the government.

Crying racism would be the coward's way to explain a loss, so I'm going to go with that. His "I don't look like the Presidents on the currency" comment has already shown that he'll go down that road.

If he were to lose, it would have to mean he lost Pennsylvania, and if he were to lose Pennsylvania, it would likely be due to heavy negative campaigning there on the part of McCain and 527s, related to Ayers and Wright, and racism likely would be a factor.

It aint gonna happen.

What will be your excuse for McCain's loss?

It doesn't matter.

Obama is going to win.

You and Arch are unbelieveable. Truly.

We're not saying that everyone who votes against Obama is a racist. But we're saying that if his race is causing him to lose three rust belt states and three in the Appalachians, then that cost him the election.

You can deny it all you want, but that doesn't make it false.

NOW you're starting to argue like me.

Best. Post. Ever.
