Wikipedia corrects Encyclopedia Brittanica

Someone posted a link to this (self-referencing) page on Slashdot (nerd site, for those who don't know) about Wikipedia correcting the well-known encyclopedia.

Just though Cali and Barbara would be interested. :)

I would have expected more from slashdot users.

This page catalogs some mistakes and omissions in Encyclopædia Britannica (EB) and shows how they have been corrected in Wikipedia. Some errors have already been corrected in Britannica's online version. This article is not a good indicator of the quality of both encyclopedias.
I love the notice: "This article is not a good indicator of the quality of both encyclopedias."

Classic Wikipedia. Bad grammar in a line that calls the entire article into question.

You know me well, Mr. Tex. There's nothing that'll give me a good chuckle like a bunch of wikipedians singing their own praises while citing themselves as authorities on the matter.

How about a Brigham Young University study?
