Obama kids off to school

They are very lucky that dad and mom are rich enough to put them into private schools, sequestering them from the poor kids.

That seems a little harsh. DO you really think it is a good idea to have the president's children in a public school? THe security, if adequate, would warp the school's normal daily activities and, if not adequate, would be a very bad idea.

There are the elite, and then there are the rest of us.

Why the hell wouldn't he send his kids to an elite private school? That's what his mother did for him. And look what road it set him upon.

I think you're looking at this all wrong. The Quakers have long been marginalized in this country. By sending his children to a Quaker school Obama is in fact saying that all, including Quakers, will be accepted during an Obama presidency.

Personally I can't stand Quakers, what with their aversion to creeds and their love of oats, but I guess a new day is a-dawning. And I best get hip to it.

Little known fact: Montana women are uniformly fat asses. I think they put carbs in the water up there.

I think they only look fat, because so many of them are wearing multiple layers of clothing to try to keep warm.

On the one hand, I get where you are coming from. On the other, I don't begrudge anyone for trying to do the best for their children, and that's all I think this is. FWIW, I don't think this is much of a change for them. They were already enrolled in an equally expensive, elite private school in Chicago. It was more about fame, money, and position, nor merely the Presidential position. Now they just get to go with secret service.

I'm also jealous 'cause I wish I went to an elite private school.

I was working in a research lab one summer at A&M, and one of the grad students had told the other students that I had come from BYU, an elite, very, very expensive private school.

That's as close I ever got to being among the elite. I was castigated as elite by an ignorant moron.

Unless they're wearing some sort of winter clothing that has extra insulation in the ass then no. I guess I should have been more specific: Montana women uniformly HAVE fat asses.
