Body of Lies

Don't know if it has been reviewed.

DiCaprio redeems himself as a better actor than I thought. The overall work is intriguing and directed by Black Hawk Down director. Not the intensity of that film, but it was well-done without an over emphasis on brutality.

To avoid any spoilers, it has a good flow but for the predictable ending. However, it is worth seeing, unless you abhor violent content at all. Babs, don't see it.

However, the view on terrorism is fascinating and interesting. The movie did leave you wanting more, because it was mostly action but pointed to something more. So either you could have had more action, making it more along the lines of Bourne, or less action, more thoughtful analysis and a focus upon the psychology of the subject matter. The film while receiving a minor thumbs up still hovered between watchable and what might have been.

Ridley Scott also directed Gladiator, Alien, Blade Runner, among others.

Blade Runner? WTF? How could this be in the same repertoire as Gladiator.
