This lady seems out there.

If Alaska leaves the US, then the government cannot take away her neglected and ignored kids.

In order for Alaska to secede, doesn't it first have to be a relevant part of the union? I think they have the cart before the horse.

Alaska has oil. That would seem to be relevant enough.

She doesn't know what the VP does

Neither did Dick Cheney so he just made up his own job description, which I think was unconstitutional. The Constitution only gives two duties to the VP: take over for the president if he dies and preside over the senate. That is it. I welcome the return of the VP office to where it belongs.

So far, here is what we know about Palin:

She admits to not following Iraq

She doesn't know what the VP does

She was almost recalled for a firing scandal as mayor

She is engaged in another firing scandal as governor

The President of the Alaskan Senate (a Republican) says she isn't ready to be governor, let alone VP

She favors secession for Alaska (even recorded the keynote speach for the Alaskan secession party THIS YEAR!

Intrade has now started a betting line as to whether or not she will still be on the ticket in November. Traders are currently giving her about a 20% chance of dropping out.

The only thing she needs now is a racist, anti-American pastor, a real estate deal with a convicted felon, and close ties to an anti-American terrorist, and she'll be a complete package!

It's too bad, though, that her daughter was punished with a baby.

you would think that Cali would actually want Palin to stay on the ticket in order to help Obama.

But he doesn't. He wants her off!

And that's all you need to know folks.

By the way, note that Tex attempts to bring up people Obama is connected to in one way or another in order to make the inference that Obama must be a bad guy. He knows bad people, ergo, we can assume he is a bad person with bad ideas. It is a total logical fallacy, but that has never stopped Tex once.

When Tex is presented with actual positions of Palin (she favors Alaskan secession), he doesn't need to make any inference about her belief system. She gave it to him. But he totally ignores those beliefs and asks us all to instead go back to the inference game with Obama.

How do you feel about Alaskan secession, Tex? What do you think about the wisdom of electing someone VP who believes Alaska should secede, and that the vote to join the Union was unconstitutional?

Let me guess: you would rather just keep playing the inference game with Obama.

Tex just doesn't get it. Barack Obama transcends qualifications. In fact, he's qualified to run for President because he has run a Presidential Campaign.

Quote:

In an interview on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 Monday night, Obama was asked about whether his experience in the U.S. Senate dealing with weather-related situations compares to Palin’s executive experience running the state of Alaska and as the small town mayor of Wasilla, Alaska.
“My understanding is that Gov. Palin’s town, Wassilla, has I think 50 employees. We've got 2500 in this campaign. I think their budget is maybe 12 million dollars a year – we have a budget of about three times that just for the month,” Obama responded.
Our ability to manage large systems and to execute I think has been made clear over the past couple of years and certainly in terms of the legislation I’ve passed in the past couple of years, post-Katrina.”
