Ahhh The Eighties

And, no, I'm not talking about Killing Joke.

I went to get my hair cut today and the stylist (no snickering) was wearing a long colored tee-shirt with a large black belt over the top and black leggings with heels. I said, "wow, flashback." I then asked her if she had any Benetton rugby shirts.

I went shopping last night for some killer gear to wear in vegas this weekend. The stores were packed with lace leggings and really wide belts. Everywhere. Like it's the must-have look of the season. But as much as I want to relive the days of Molly Ringwald and Pat Benatar, I just couldn't bring myself to try a set on. Now, if only they were selling acid-washed miniskirts, pink legwarmers and LA gear hi-tops...then I'd be all set!

The question I have would be if she had a Bananarama or New Order pin?

Any skinny, blunt ended knit tie sitings yet? I've still got a couple from Jr. High that I'm near bursting to break out.

I've seen some downtown; with the unstructured blazer crowd.

With the sleeves pushed up to the elbow? My time has come again.

I won't truly think you're cool unless you have a pink one.

I don't need your validation, I am cool. I've got a yellow one and a maroon one. Tight!
