but I have observed something about the law that seems to apply to this FLDS situation.

The law is about passing through various thresholds (what I would refer to in philosophical terms as a liminal process).

There is nothing more permanant than passing through these thresholds, whether done in the name of "temporary action" or not.

IOW, I'm guessing the Texas officials very well intend these "temporary actions" to result in the permanent seperation of FLDS parents from their children.

Again, this is just a guess based on my observation of the one-way-doors that are legal processes.

I agree. The Judge in this case had the decision made long before the she issued it. The Court proceedings were show and tell.
