IMO the most important invention in the last decade

In august I read about Dr. Algood in Popular Mechanics

Here is the article http://www.popularmechanics.com/scie...50.html?page=7

Additionally here is the website for the project

Basically the wife and I gave the packets to all of our families to help with their 72 hour kits. All you need is a water source. Whether it be a river or water on top of a pool cover. I think this idea will help more people in the world than any other one.

IMO the church should invest in this heavily and make it available through their distribution centers. Even missionaries in 3rd world countries this would be a great help.

Cool. I store water at my house. I would need a lot of packets to treat the equivalent amount of water I have stored.

But for a bugout bag it would be good. If you could get a lot of extra packets. I have a ceramic backpacking filter, which wouldn't treat viruses however.

They are like $1 a packet so $100 gallons of water would be $50
