Another reason other than laziness I don't run
 

Yikes. We see coyotes on our runs all the time. A couple of them are big enough that if I didn't know better I'd say they were wolves. Heaven help us the day one of those things contracts rabies and comes after us. That could be ugly.

Is it just me or have coyotes gotten bigger over the years? When I was a kid it seemed like the coyotes we saw were more like an average sized large breed dog (i.e. a lab, etc.)

But I have also seen the ones that seem more like wolves in size ...

Sure seems like it.
