Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles

Season 2 finale on Friday night.

This is a show that lost its way with whiny, boring characters.

Summer Glau is excellent as Cameron, a cyborg. Leanne Headey is good as Sarah Connor. Shirley Manson, after a rough start, has found her way as a cyborg with questionable motives.

The last few episodes turned out to be very good. But it looks like the show will be canceled, with no 3rd season in store. It probably depends on how much fans agitate, as well as whether the new Terminator movie is successful, and how much momentum that can give the show.

I'm hoping they bring it back. Against all odds, I stuck with the show, and was rewarded, finally, with some good writing at the end.

Looks like cancellation is a certainty:

Summer Glau, I will follow you, wherever you go.

This is one of my favorite shows on TV. It sucks that they changed it to Friday nights, which did their ratings no favors.

Maybe you are in luck.

Meanwhile, Sarah Connor Chronicles writer Ashley Edward Miller Twittered that we shouldn't take Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello too seriously when he claims the show is already canceled, since he said the same thing before season two, and midway through season two:

Time for Ausiello's semi-annual SCC termination report. False again. (Remember "sets were destroyed" report? Now you know context, people).

(For the record, Sarah Connor Chronicles has no standing sets, as anybody who's watched the show can attest.) For his part, showrunner Josh Friedman settled for Twittering:

Waiting for Michael Ausiello to tell me what I'm supposed to do now with my career.

That would really suck - I really like the show - until the last few episodes, it was a little weird and boring, but I thought the last few episodes were great (I think I've still got one on the DVR to watch).

If you want to save SCC, send an email to askfox@fox.com

Too many crappy episodes. They found their legs when it was too late.
