Race Calendars?

I'm trying to coordinate mine, but the kids' schedule is complicating mine.

Bike race in San Dimas, March 28

Half marathon April 13 in Havasu

Bike Ride April 19 in Mexico

Bike Race April 26

Tri May 10,

Stage Race May 17

Tri May 31

Tri June 14

Tri June 17 or 29

Bike Ride Aug 9, ULCER

Bike Ride Aug 23, Desperado Dual

Sep 6, Lotoja

Sept 20, if I don't qualify for Kona

October 11, Kona if qualified otherwise

October 26, Soma Tri

And in November or December another half marathon.

I don't know when I'll fit in the time to work. maybe I'll have to quit my day job.

How about you guys and gals?

Now injuries are slowing me as I can't get my heel healed. So running is off limits except when I sneak a cheat run without the master knowing about it.

Are you really going to be in San Dimas at the end of March?

creekster 02-21-2008 12:25 AM

My kids are my race schedule. I race them from activity to activity and, when I need fitness, I race them to the TV remote before planting myself on the couch. THis explains my reamrkable physique, btw.

Either I will or my wife, it's a stage race, including a hill TT, a hilly loop for the RR, and a tight little crit.

She usually gets first dibs which means I probably will have to wait until next year.

Viking and I expect you to be in top form for Lotoja, as we have no other race support. Bluegoose will be there as well. Lebowski claims to wish to support us with some milkshakes.

I've got to get in much better shape, but here's mine:

Winter Training Circuit 1/2 Marathon April 5
Salt Lake City Marathon, April 19
Ogden Marathon May 17
Wasatch Back Relay June 20-21
Pocatello Marathon August 30
Ogden Valley Tri Sept 13 or 20
New York City Marathon (If I finally get in) Nov. 2
if I don't get in to NYC, I'm thinking about doing the Ogden Valley 50 miler in Oct
Las Vegas Marathon Dec. 7

bluegoose 02-21-2008 03:17 PM

Here's what I have so far (very tentatively):

April 12 - Pear Blossom Run 10 miler (Medford, OR)
April 26 - Lemurian Mountain Bike Race (Redding, CA)
May 10 - Tour of the Unknown Coast (Century)
May 31 - Newport, OR marathon (likely just support for my wife, possibly half marathon)
June 21 - Ashland, OR Century
July 12 - Death Ride
July 5-27 - Watch Tour de France
Aug 8-24 - Watch Olympics
Sept 13 - Siskiyou Century (Yreka, CA)
Oct 4 - St George Marathon (if I get in)

Throw in a half dozen swim meets for the kids, an LDS scout encampment, and a couple of vacation days for camping and a family reunion, and my lawn should be 3 feet tall by the time I get around to mowing it by the end of October
