It blows me away how many people will still drive everywhere at $4.60+/gallon. Yeah, it's hot in Redding but it won't kill you. I'm convinced there are people who will go without food and shelter before they'll cut back on the driving.

I honestly hope enough democrats reverse themselves and open up drilling in Alaska, the OCS, etc, even if it means republicans lose a campaign issue.
