What is your dream duathlon

Mine would be a golf and biking combination. The golf would take place on a course that measured over 7700 yards (short game sucks) and the bike would be over a 25 mile flat course. No carts allowed for the golf and you're penalized one stroke for every minute over 4:15 that the round takes. The golf winner would start first and everybody else would start one minute behind if you lost by a stroke or two minutes for two strokes and so on. I think I could do pretty well in the old fart division.

Mine would be power napping and a downhill bike ride. Given my current condition, gravity is my good firend on downhill bike rides.

So what would you wear for this duathlon? Would you golf in lycra or would you cycle in Dockers? Maybe you could just wear some knicker length cycling shorts and cover both sports.

Other than these smallish details, it sounds good to me. What are you shooting these days? I seem to recall you're quite the links player, so that, combined with LOTOJA-type fitness levels, you could be quite the formidable foe.

I've put my fly rod in my bag when I've played golf at Logan river.

Golf is a cruel mistress, but dangit, I can't forsake her.

Argyle lyrca knickers. I like that idea.

I'm playing to a 12 right now. 18 holes a week is about all I get in and it shows. I still hit the ball well but I'm an absolute disaster at 100 yards in. Take me to Thankgivings Point and or Joe's putt putt course and I'm going to shot about the same because I just can't get up and down anymore.
