Predictions for tonight?

I have none, but wonder what others believe.

il Padrino Ute 03-22-2007 04:53 PM

No predictions, but there should be some good games.

DrumNFeather 03-22-2007 05:26 PM

In my bracket, I picked Pitt to win this round, so I'd like them to knock out the Bruins...don't know if they will, but I'm hopeful.

BarbaraGordon 03-22-2007 05:27 PM

These are not so much predictions as random thoughts from the uninformed:

The Kansas-SIU game is the one I'm having trouble with who to pull for...On the one hand, I want the remaining two Big 12 schools to win. On the other, I was born in Carbondale so I've always had a soft spot for the Salukis.

I'm curious to see how Ohio State does after the scare against Xavier.

No feelings either way on Pitt-UCLA.

I hope the Buckeye's lose. I really hope they lose.

bluegoose 03-22-2007 07:25 PM

My predictions as notarized on my bracket of integrity are:

Florida over Butler
Oregon over Wisconsin (UNLV)
Kansas over SIU
UCLA over Pitt
Texas over UNC (Ouch, that one hurt. I had Texas in the finals)
Georgetown over Wash St (Vandy)
Ohio St over Tenn
Memphis over Texas A&M

myboynoah 03-22-2007 07:26 PM

In order for me to maintain my numero uno spot in the CB Tournament Bracket contest, I need these results:

Kansas/SIU - it's a wash, but I prefer SIU which would make Pitt's path easier.
Pitt/UCLA - Pitt must win.
OSU/Tenn - My heart is with the Vols (Good ol' Rocky Top, Rocky Top Tennessee), but OSU must win.
aTm/Memphis - aTm must win.

I hitched my star to Texas, predicting they would win it all (stupid Longhorns), so I will eventually need chaos to reign with either USC or UNLV winning out.

Unlikely yes, but I'm going to ask my kids to prayer for victory.

Reeeeeeeeeebbbuuuuuuulllllllllls

Fight On!

I believe that Archaea will score some birthday "action" tonight.

What's the over/under on that bet, as I will take that bet?

If Birthday action means being allowed to watch bball in peace, perhaps. If it means what others frequently enjoy, unlikely. In fact, I'm headed to soccer practice with my son tonight.

I'm toast.

Never trust teams from Texas.

Ironically, I picked Texas to exit early.

There were some terrific games tonight. That last defensive play by Oden was a thing of beauty.

Wow.

Wow.

Agreed. Odens patience and timing on that last play were amazing. And then to see him jump out of the building to block the shot was scary.

Surfah 03-23-2007 06:57 PM

I picked UCLA to win it all. I think UNLV will beat Oregon tonight. I think they could go to the final 4. I just really want Florida to lose. I don't like them at all. I was hoping for OSU to lose too, but after watching that game and Oden's last block I decided I want to see more of them.

BarbaraGordon 03-23-2007 09:55 PM

I have to go to a Pampered Chef party (Marsupial and Farrah probably know what this means). I don't get to watch the games tonight.

:(

Free yourself from your oppression. Womyn of the world unite!

I'm still amazed as my wife explains to me the reasons she grudgingly attends events like that. The ways of the female are very strange and totally indecipherable.

It's pretty simple really. Most women are too wimpy to just say no when a friend invites them to one of these silly parties where someone guilts their friends into buying highly-overpriced merchandise in an ill-advised way to earn extra income. Most guys would just laugh when invited. Women are too polite sometimes.

yup. It's a guilt thing.

I contribute to the cause of feminism by refusing to host such parties or participate in downlines.
It's the best I can do.

Everyone join me in rooting for the Hoyas tonight, will ya?

When the Utes aren't playing, I really don't root for any particular team, though I do root against some teams. I'll keep rooting against Vanderbilt because it's in the SEC.

Is that good enough for you?
