I thought my wife was the only person on the planet who watches the Food Network.
I've never watched it, though I have zipped past it on the way to The History Channel. |
Ace of Cakes, Everyday Italian, the old school Iron Chef (the actual Japanese version)... sometimes the Food Network Challenges are entertaining

Surfah and Gidget
We both watch the Food Network quite a bit. By far we love Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, and Guy Fieri has the best job in America. A close second is Ace of Cakes, then of course Iron Chef America - a la cuisine!

Good Eats

I like all of their shows except the big fat stupid southern woman, I think her name is Contessa.

1. Good Eats
2. Throwdown 3. Boy Meets Grill 4. Diners, Drive ins and Dives 5. Healthy Apetite 6. Dinner Impossible |
Yeah "Barefoot Contessa" sucks, that lady is so boring, I have no idea how she got a show entertaining on Food Network. Especially now that the FN is so cool.

Besides Iron Chef and Good Eats, I have never heard of most of these shows. I haven't watched the FN lately. 4ever, is the big southern lady Paula Deen? I haven't seen the Barefoot Contessa show, but I heard that he cookbooks are very good. |
I'm a fan of the food network. I have Everyday Italian and 30-minute meals tivod for those days when I want to cook something new, so I can easily flip through and see if they look good. I set up my Tivo to record the Next Food Network Star, but never really got into it.
FWIW, Kelsey Nixon that was recently on the next Food Network Star reality show is a recent BYU grad. Apparently she was just eliminated though. Too bad. |
