As an interesting aside:

My dad spoke in church a few weeks ago. He and my mom are moving from the ward they've been in for some 30 years and so they gave talks about the history of the ward, the building, etc under the theme "if these walls could talk."

He told one story that happened while he was bishop. He was driving home and as he passed the church, he noticed that the building was surrounded by police officers with guns drawn etc. Apparently, an escaped convict had found an open window or door and was hiding out in the church, under the clerks desk.

I suppose if one was to seek refuge somewhere, and LDS church would be a great place...it has a shower, kitchen, and even pianos and organs for entertainment...although things might get a little awkward on Mutual night.

Yeah same here, only instead of looking for "Charlie," the code word was "Snipe." We can take you on one, Lebowski.

I think my favorite LDS film is In the Company of Men.

Does Saints and Soldiers" count as an LDS film?

I would vote for Napolean Dynomite if it were one of the choices

I win. I've seen "Saints and Soldiers." I'm back to activity in the church again.

That is perhaps the best LDS film, understated as it were.
