You really get me. You really do.

By all means, make some arguments as to why gay marriage will harm society. Show why the world would be a better place if gays were not allowed to marry.

Marriage is man made institution. Since I've never met God, I can't be sure what He/She/It thinks about gay marriage. I hope God doesn't worry too much about man-made laws. What would God think about jaywalking?

I hope for an inclusive God. A God that knows our hearts and wants us to be happy. I hope God is more concerned about our happiness than arbitrary rules. It saddens me to think that people are so insecure in their beliefs that they have to try to legislate them.

Because gays have an "agenda". Agendas harm society. Of course, we don't know what the agenda is. But they have one dammit!

I never said they should. I just don't think "God says so" is enough of a reason, by itself, to legislate. Where, in your mind, would it stop?

Should we try to legislate against drinking alcohol?

Should we try to outlaw adultery?

Should we outlaw single people from adopting? (the Proclamation on the Family says that "Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and a mother who honor marital vows with complete fidelity")

We could just save time and adopt Leviticus and Exodus as legal code.

I thought they already did that in the Bible Belt.

6. Ruin all heterosexual marriages
7. Turn 4 children gay
8. Make a dinner of spicy ginger tofu with garlic snap peas
9. Pray to lucifer
10. Go to bed
