They're probably the second best team in the PAC-10 right now...agree? Or at least it's very close - I think they're on par with both Cal and Oregon.

BTW, is that David Locke in your avatar? - LOL.

Also did anyone see Tulsa up 70-35 with under 5 minutes to play go for it on 4th and 6 inside Uteps 10 yard line.

I thought Price's head was going to explode.

These positions are inconsistent? My posts aren't at war with each other, unlike yours.

You're the rambler, not me.

If OSU is a quality team and will wind up winning the PAC10 championship, then SC's only loss will have come at the hands of an excellent team that is a BCS conference champ.

So SC's loss actually was a really quality loss. Therefore, it would not be unfair for them to play for the title.

So I guess we agree on that.

Yes, that is David Locke.

No. I hypothesized OSU winning the Pac 10, and said if USC can't even win the Pac 10 it has no busines in the NC game, certainly not more than Utah, which, per my hypothetical, finished unbeaten, and beat OSU.

Then we disagree.

You can win any other sport's championship without winning your own conference or division.

Now you are the one being inconsistent.

Nobody but you thinks that Utah is better than USC. Maybe you know something that over 100 other coaches do not.

If that happened, the football gods will get even with Tulsa. I no longer expect an undefeated season from them.

my memory is a little fuzzy, but didn't OK lose the big 12 conference to Kansas state one year and still play in the then matchup between # 1 and 2? BCS is built for controversy.

I'm still wondering what they should have done. I didn't see the game, so if they threw a pass, that's one thing; if they ran and weren't stopped, that's another.
