I recall a Daily Universe story (this was probably in the late '70s) about a BYU student who got SSN 000-00-0001. The original owner has died years earlier, and the SSA was willing to give it to him. Does anyone else remember this story?
Most of the posters here dude, weren't born by the time you were matriculating at BYU. So how could they remember that?

I was hoping '71 picked up a copy of the article in question when he was on campus for his 25th year reunion.
