Amen to that. I think the last western to hit the big screen that I can recall was Open Range. That was 3 or 4 years ago.

btw, I find it kind of interesting that people think it is wrong to watch a morality play like 3:10 to Yuma, but it's perfectly ok to watch some mindless pg-13 shlock.
