Yeah I know, you, SU, Arch and others are buddies of his and will defend Adam no matter what and that's fine. I have no qualms with you. You're the genuine article. However, I think it's shameful that you don't have the fortitude to stand up for what's right given the tone and damaging rhetoric of his messages, even if you do see eye to eye with him on some issues I expect more from a man of character like you and others on here.

Adam is not a victim, and his charade is a joke. There is little to no difference regarding his rhetoric compared with an Anti that seeks to injure with their words, and I'm sick of it and I will point it out when I see it. If he's going to be so bold in his carefully designed rhetoric then I will fire back, and if gets ugly, then so be it.

If his goal is to garner reactions then he'll get them from me. If standing up for whats right makes me the villian in your guys eyes, then that's a role I gladly accept.

With all due respect, the intense emotional reaction you are showing here is crazy. You take this internet message board stuff way too seriously. Relax, brother.

Another hypocritical response.

Not regarding your posts mind you, but...Um Jeff....have you read Adam's posts on here?

He goes emotionally half cocked off on others sacred ideals all the time, but I don't see you criticizing him for it, but that's okay because he's your buddy.

His reactions aren't crazy are they? lol......

Consistency Jeff...come on...I know you can do it.

I have to agree with Rocky here, although he didn't set himself up very well to deliver the message. Adam's vitriol and name-calling is second to none on the board. Quite honestly, I get very tired of it. When called on it, even gently, he gives a half-baked rationalization which, IMO, fails to justify his behavior. I would prefer than none of us engage in name calling and so forth, but it will happen from time to time. Even so, I think most of us could do a better job of avoiding it.

I don't have a perfect memory but I don't think Adam started the name calling. Rocky has been calling him a disguised apostate. That's about as "analytical" as Rocky's responses have gotten. Now, in LDS cosmology is there a worse thing that someone could call someone else except maybe gay?

Yes, well, "he started it" is not a very persuasive response in my mind. I certainly don't mean to let Rocky off the hook, as his name calling is as bad or worse and I wish he would also knock it off.

For me when it comes to Adam it isn't even the name calling. To be honest, that doesn't bother me. Maybe it should, but it doesn't.

It's the purpose of his disguise and victim act combined with the vitriol and rhetoric that bothers me.

I claim no high moral ground here.

However, Adam's purpose behind his disguise is dirtier than any name calling on here and I will continue to fight it. And since that's his game, if I have to get ugly and dirty to fight it then I will, and without apology or regret.

He's SU Part Deux, only he'd like to have all of us know he still donates his time and money...lol.

I am also a Yankees fan, having first gotten into baseball during my 6 years in NYC. RockyBalboa see the Yankees the same way he sees Duke.

So while Rocky pretends to be nobly protecting you all from my wolf in sheep's clothing Sherem routine, he is really just blinded by hatred of the Blue Devils and the Bronx Bombers. There really isn't anything deeper to it.

If I was a Cubs fan who went to law school at northwestern (or some such combination) we would probably be friends.

Now if you notice a few pages ago he threatened to take my virtual polemic here and use them against me in real life if I ever ran for public office again. If that doesn't violate internet discussion board ethics, I don't know what does. I hoped when FMCoug outed my real identity against my wishes last year it wouldn't come to this, but it has. There is no way to put that genie back into the bottle.

So I now say goodbye. Forever. Do a dance Rocky. With that threat, you just won.

Adam, that genie has been out of the bottle a lot longer than FMCoug.

That's just the nature of this world we live in. If you want to say your mind, people will threaten to use it against you.

A prominent member of CB has told me he is making a file on me to present to local church authorities.

That's just the way it is.

Look at Al Franken. He is testing the idea that you can be elected even if you haven't always been PC and hidden yourself away.

That threat by Rocky was way over the line. I can't believe it got so little attention.

You happy now, Rocky? How about you, Creekster?
