Given this first messaeg I hope this group is for cyclists and not Queen fans.

SO what is this group FOR?

This would be a good place to organize getting everyone to do one of the big rides next year. What do you think?

you guys are going to have to help me out on that one. The Desperado Dual this year will be my first century, so if you guys have some experience with one that you liked I am game. Some of the ones in northern California look cool. Tour of the unknown coast?

BTW creekster, the only way this group could be any better is if it were filled with people who were both cycling AND Queen fans. "Fat bottomed girls will be riding today...."

I planned to do the alpine loop climb and then suncrest climb this weekend in prep for the DD but I just realized that the Tour of Utah has that stage this saturday. So change of plans and am going to do Nebo Loop. 22 miles to summit from the payson side. 5600 feet of climbing. False Summits 5 times. That should kick my ass.

Doing the Moab Century. Anyone in? Sept. 20th, It is a gameday, but I like cycling a lot.
