two weeks ago my dad entered a senior games....5k TT, 10k TT, and road race, all one after the other.
Got last place in every event.
So he goes on a diet and loses 6 pounds, starts training intervals.
He goes up to another games this weekend, and finished 2/3rds back, and in the road race, led out the last half lap. Shaved TWO MINUTES off of his 5k TT.
I think I need to take a page from his book...
