View Full Version : Can I blame my son?

I got up this morning and , due to other schedule costraints, had about 90 minutes for a ride. SO I decided to go by myself as my wife has been running a lot lately and wasn't that interested in a ride on the tandem or triple. So my wife asks me if I'm going riding and I say yes. I finish up breakfast and am about to charge upstairs to get in my embrrassingly tight yet functional cycling gear and there, at the top of the stairs, is my eight year old, all decked out in jersey, shorts and glvoes, ready to go on the triple. WHat could I do? So instead of getting out for a 20 miler or so, we went for a 10-12 miler on the triple, but we haf a good time as a family, even though I didn't get the workout I hoped for (it was a good work out, just not the one I wanted.)

So, when I meet up with some of you guys and get dropped like a bad habit, can I blame him?

I'm certain you won't get dropped by me, I don't drop anybody.
