I've decided that I will suspend a bonus for myself this year.

I'm such a lousy employee, but I'm also a micro-managing bastard of a boss. I am thinking of quitting, because that would put me in a really tough spot as I think that I couldn't find anyone to replace me. Perhaps I am overestimating my worth as an invaluable employee, but I would deserve the treatment because a boss like me is never fun to work for. Then again, I give myself every chance to prove that I'm not a lazy, worthless employee and I always end up being disappointed by my performance.

what's a bonus?

when you are a doctor your bonus is included in your 300k a year salary

It will be lower than last year, but last year was about 35%, this year should be 20% to 25%.

My base salary is too low, but I can't complain about bonuses usually.
